Over the past 15 years, social mentoring programs have spread throughout Europe as an innovative and person-centered form of social intervention. Research and innovation are urgently needed for the sustainable development of the field. The International Conference “Social Mentoring in Europe: Prospects for Social Inclusion and Engagement” on November 13 and 14, 2026, is hosted by Bertha von Suttner Private University in St. Pölten, near Vienna, Austria.
The Call for Contributions is open until March 31.
The full conference Program will be published by June 2026. This event is co-organized by the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership “Mentoring for Social Inclusion in Europe: Sharing Knowledge and Building Capacity” (Ment4EU). It is supported by the Mentoring Europe network. Patronage has been assumed by Korinna Schumann, Federal Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection.

This first European conference dedicated specifically to research and innovation in social mentoring marks an important milestone.
